Rolling Stone Magazine premiers and reviews M.E. Baird’s follow up single ‘Always Tuesday’ music video. This is the second single to his new release [Fall]
“Momentarily parking his Lionel Lee's Curse project and recording under his own name for the first time in twenty years, country-bluesman M.E. Baird (pictured above) is set to release his new album, Fall, on May 14th. Born from sorrow — with the tragic passing of his mother, father, sister and nephew circling the album's creation — Fall approaches from a far more personal perspective, with the songwriter taking a refreshingly frank, confessional tone.
Lead single, "Full of the Devil", documents the destructive activities of tempting devil within, attaching a somewhat self-depreciating sense of awareness to the confident, swaggering blues. While the follow-up, "Always Tuesday", takes a far more sombre tone, partnering both residual orchestral elements with Baird's own lingering lyrical bluntness. The song is an ode to endurance, an often overlooked aspect of a partnership whereby surviving past honeymoon lust and through all of life’s darker, despairing moments is worthy of all the gushing praise the songwriter can articulate."
